Resumen

This study is part of a collaborative work with the women of Sacsamarca, recognized for being one of the first communities in Ayacucho to confront the violence of Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) in Peru in the 1980's. The starting point is community psychology in dialogue with decolonial feminism to build a methodological design relevant to the historical, social and cultural context of this Andean community. We used field ethnography and life histories, as well as photographic records to understand the different experiences of well-being/discomfort of a group of adult women living in Sacsamarca. From the thematic analysis, we identify some dimensions and themes that emerge from the different data collection techniques. We found a set of “healing acts”, as artistic and ritual expressions with nature, which are characterized by their communal, performative, spiritual, affective and resistant features. From this, we assert the importance for the women of this community, affectivity and collective action for the search of wellbeing based on respect, relationality and care of cultural frameworks.
