Item type:Publication, Mobile application for the monitoring and control of electrical energy consumption through a meter made with Arduino(IJETAE Publication House, 2021-01-01)This year, citizens were complaining that the power companies were overcharging their bills because of the pandemic, but investigations in previous years also showed claims in Peru and internationally. In this work, the Scrum Methodology was used for the development of the mobile application and the Balsamiq tool was used for the design of the prototype. In addition, the Arduino tool was used for the electricity consumption meter. As for the case study, we developed the prototypes of the application with its functions and the methodology of how it is elaborated, at the same time we described the way in which the meter will be implemented with Arduino. The results obtained from the research are that people can compare the consumption of the bill issued by the electricity company and the consumption shown by the Arduino meter, in addition to the union of the mobile application with the meter will allow them to consult the consumption and also issue reports having a better control of electricity. This work can be implemented not only in the cities, but also in remote places where traditional meters have not been implemented. Item type:Publication, Design of a mobile application to changethe child vaccination establishmentunder the COVID-19 pandemic(IJETAE Publication House, 2022-02-01)The research analyzed the desertion of child vaccination in Peru, because parents could not immunize their children and that they changed their place of residence, taking refuge in the countryside for fear of contagion of COVID-19; and the shortage of work as a result of the measures taken by the state in the face of significant increases in COVID-19 infections, brought serious consequences in the decrease in the percentages of vaccinated children with a decrease to 61.1% of childhood immunization, as a result of the long and difficult processes to be able to immunize a minor in a vaccination establishment different from the one that attended for immunization; the objective being to increase the percentage of immunized children, through the use of a mobile application, where the parent will have the option of viewing the list of nearby vaccination facilities where they wish to immunize their child, as well as being able to make changes to the establishment of vaccination, avoiding the long and difficult process that currently has to be carried out in order to make a change in the vaccination establishment. The methodology used is Scrum; thanks to this methodology, the work was carried out efficiently and satisfactorily. The result of the research was satisfactory, and this can be said thanks to the results of the survey carried out with parents, where the majority indicated they agree on how important and efficient the web application is; thanks to the fact that it facilitates the change of health facility for many parents who had to change residence and take refuge in the countryside due to lack of work and fear of contagion of COVID-19. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Mobile Application That Promotes Citizen Participation to Counteract Insecurity in the District of Los Olivos(Penerbit Akademia Baru, 2023-08-01)Nowadays, in Peru, there are several problems, where crime is one of the most prominent; we see this reflected daily in the various criminal acts that occur in our capital city, which generates fear, distrust and insecurity in the population. For this reason, we propose the development of a mobile application that can provide relevant information on crime incidents occurring in the district of Los Olivos. The application has the function of notifying users and district authorities about incidents of citizen insecurity in order to generate various lines of communication, which, by being more efficient, provide an immediate response to these criminal acts, thus reducing crime rates in the district of Los Olivos. In addition, this application promotes citizen participation and empowers the population to be part of the decisions in public policies, it will also allow the Police of the Jurisdiction to take the necessary actions since they will have updated and accurate information on their mobile device. For the development of the mobile application was chosen the Scrum methodology because it allows greater efficiency in the development stages. Finally, its structure will be made with the Kotlin language, which will have the necessary Application Programming Interfaces (API's) and similar to Google Maps, to visualize and make use of these adding risk notifications about a crime in key locations, storing the information in a relational database for distribution through the virtual store of PlayStore applications.
