Item type:Publication, Design of an IoT prototype for the prevention of robberies in the young areas of Lima(Seventh Sense Research Group, 2022-09-01)Latin America is affected by citizen insecurity; street robberies are frequent. In Peru, this scenario is alarming; according to studies and reports presented by the authorities, it is estimated that a monthly average of 1,5348 robberies are reported every month. Lima, being the main capital, is exposed to a greater number of assaults, especially in young areas; because of this, in this research work, an IoT design was presented, which consists of a system of alarms implemented in specific areas where the complaint rate is higher. This alarm will be activated through a mobile application installed on the user's smartphone, This way; the user can turn on the alarm in case they witnesses or is the victim of a robbery; the application will send an alert message to the nearest authorities to take action on the scare. The Scrum Methodology was used as a methodology because its framework is adapted to the needs of this research. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The result obtained, from developing the case study, was an augmented reality prototype for the improvement of education at the University of Sciences and Humanities of Lima-Peru, which shows a virtual model (it depends on the image shown), able to interact with the user, making it attractive and motivating for the student, this prototype was achieved, using Unity (3D development platform, Vuforia (augmented reality software development kit), Microsoft Visual Studio (integrated development environment), the Scrum Methodology (Scrum Pillars, Product Backlog, Product Backlog Estimation, Speed, Backlog Prioritization and Sprint Planning) and the C# Language (C Sharp). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Transformative economies and complex Thinking: Enhancing sustainability competencies in business education(Elsevier BV, 2025-12-01)This study presents a pedagogical innovation that integrates agile methodologies, transformative economies, and complex thinking to enhance sustainability competencies in graduate business education. Using a multiple case study design, we examined the experiences of 58 Master of Business Administration students enrolled in a course on disruptive innovation and new business models at a business school in Peru. Students applied the Scrum framework and principles from circular, green, and solidarity economies to develop sustainability-focused projects. Quantitative results from a validated instrument showed significant gains in scientific, critical, and innovative thinking. Qualitative analysis of student reflections and project artifacts confirmed increased awareness of systemic challenges and responsible decision-making. The findings demonstrate how agile, interdisciplinary, and action-oriented pedagogies can foster the competencies needed to address complex sustainability issues. This study contributes to responsible management education by offering an empirically grounded and context-sensitive model that prepares students to lead sustainable innovation in diverse business environments.2
