- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, La pedagogía de la Madre Tierra: una propuesta reflexiva a partir de las prácticas y testimonios del sabio indígena Abadio Green Stocel(National Autonomous University of Mexico, 2022-09-14)This article attempts a philosophical and pedagogical reflection based on an interview that the doctor in education Abadio Green Stocel, of the indigenous Gunadule people and of Panamanian-Colombian nationality, gave to the magazine Luciérnaga-Comunicación, of the Faculty of Audiovisual Communication of the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid and the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Autonomous University of San Luis de Potosí. The interview was published on the magazine’s YouTube page in 2015. To make a hermeneutic commentary on Dr. Green’s thought, I will begin by contextualizing this pedagogical proposal within the context of what the emergence of indigenous artists, writers, academics, and thinkers who think about modernity from ancestral knowledge means for the academic field. Then, I will quote from the mentioned interview to relate his thinking to other pedagogical conceptions of Dr. Green and to reflections by other authors that allow us to outline what we could call an “indigenous research paradigm” and a “Pedagogy of Mother Earth”. These proposals, far from being limited to the ethnic boundaries of indigenous peoples, contain an alternative message to the hegemonic one, that needs to be heard by the whole humanity. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, #MeReclamoMía: representaciones y narrativas en torno al cuerpo femenino de instagrammers #BodyPositive(University of La Laguna, 2022-01-01)Recently, in social networks such as Instagram, it is common to find non-normative bodies challenging the hegemonic ideals that govern over the bodies. Focusing on the activism in social networks, this investigation addresses the representations and narratives about the female body of three Body Positive Fers. At the same time, this study includes three other types of participants: specialists in gender topics, body and Body Positive; fat activists and/or Body Neutrality with a critical perspective about the Body Positive movement; and followers of Body Positive accounts. Firstly, we identify the digital trajectories, profiles and content of the Instagrammers. Secondly, we analyze the representations of the female body that they show on their profiles. Thirdly, we examine the narratives about the female body that Instagrammers promote as a response to hegemonical body ideals. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Decolonial studies in the hegemonic circuits of Brazilian academic production(Fundação Getulio Vargas, Escola Brasileira de Administração Pública e de Empresas, 2024-01-01)How are the Brazilian new research agendas influenced by the contemporary dissemination of theories challenging colonial ontologies and advocating for critical revitalization of Latin American thought? This article investigates the dominant circuits of academic knowledge production in Brazil to comprehend the impact of decolonial perspectives during the first decade of the reception and adoption of this theory in the country’s intellectual production. By examining 246 articles that explored the terms “decolonial” or “decolonials” published up to 2018, we aimed to analyze the various applications this category had within Brazilian research. The aim is to outline the structure of networks involved in decolonial studies through a bibliometric review of this literature, to provide a partial historical overview of the principal themes, authors, and references mobilized in periodicals registered in the Scopus and Web of Science between 2009 and 2018. The findings suggest that studies associated with decolonial perspectives presented as both analytical and political, organized within the field of social sciences but with a noticeable influence on other knowledge domains. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, La élite empresarial y la formación de la hegemonía neoliberal del Perú desde una perspectiva gramsciana(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2023-11-22)The present work focuses on the configuration of actors and the discursive component of the neoliberal paradigm, and analyzes, in particular, from the Gramscian approach of analysis of relations of forces, the role that the business elite group had in the formation of neoliberal hegemony in the nineties. First, it explains what this theoretical approach consists of and, especially, the concepts of political power relations and hegemony. With these categories, it is possible to understand the ideological/discursive and articulating dimensions of neoliberal hegemony in its early years. Secondly, the history of the business elite in the years prior to the 1990s is briefly explained, as well as the context of crisis that allowed the emergence of a neoliberal hegemony. It addresses, on the one hand, the process of articulation of the business elite based on its union unity, and, on the other hand, it points out how the generalized crisis of the previous paradigm, the developmental one, was key to understanding the unity of the large companies. companies and to understand the advance of neoliberal ideas in the discursive field. Third and finally, thanks to contradictions in the literature and certain research gaps, the articulating and discursive aspects of neoliberal hegemony in its beginnings and the dominant role of the business elite in its articulation are explained, according to Gramscian categories. with other groups and in relation to neoliberal ideology - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
