Aportes y limitaciones de una visión del siglo XVIII peruano
    (Instituto de Pastoral Andina, 2020-10-07)
Thinking of history as a form of total consciousness implies concern for a study of the past that allows us to understand the present. "Aristocracia y Plebe. Lima, 1760-1830" by Alberto Flores-Galindo (Mosca Azul Editores. Lima, 1984), is a text that is decidedly inclined towards this purpose, and this is its greatest merit. And, paradoxically, it reveals its greatest weakness. Topics that the author analyzes, such as racism and urban violence, lead us to a reflection that goes beyond the current situation; In this, they fully meet the objective of making the past an instrument for understanding the present. But the rationalization of that design also requires that we become aware of the preconceptions that contemporary experience inculcates, otherwise we will project them uncritically on the phenomena of the past.

La experiencia de la creación artística: el creador y la fantasía
(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2024-12-10)
This work explores, from a Husserlian perspective, the experience of artistic creation. Thus, it starts from his analyses on the internal time consciousness in order to delve into the constituent phenomena that operate both actively and passively in the creative act. This return to the anonymous depths of consciousness allows us to reflect on the original character of the present within a temporal horizon and, with it, a form of responsibility of the artist regarding his own time. Finally, Husserl’s conception of fantasy will be explained as a type of peculiar experience that, unlike image consciousness, neutralizes reality to open its own horizon that is able to confront us.

Placer e interés en Aristóteles y Husserl: ingredientes hiléticos para el despertar de la conciencia
(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2023-12-11)
Increasingly vigorous research into the nature of consciousness contrasts with a loss of interest in the notion of life or in the conceptual delimitation of a living organism. They also contrast, either to refute or adhere to, with the assumption of a finished rational and mathematical model of the world reflected in the predominance of measurable properties over more sensible qualities of things. The treatment of pleasure and consciousness in Aristote and Husserl seems to restore and subvert, respectively, relegated and not so relegated models: in the first case, the notion of life and activity; in the second, the scheme of a neutral theoretical reason.
