    Scientific economic laws of capitalism
    (Springer International Publishing, 2021-09-16)
The discovery of causality relations is one of the main objectives of science. Epistemology principles dictate that causality relations can only be derived from scientific theories. Therefore, the answer to the questions of why and how capitalism functions in a particular way cannot come from data alone, but from an economic theory that has survived the falsification process; that is, in order to understand the real world, the construction of an world is a necessary condition. No theory, no causality, and no explanation. Unified theory of capitalism satisfies these epistemological requirements. Therefore, this essay presents the causality relations that the unified theory is able to establish, which constitute the economic laws of capitalism. A comparison with the laws derived from standard economics is also presented. The nature of scientific laws in economics is then discussed.

Success factors in management of development projects
    (MDPI, 2022-01-01)
From the reports of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE), a limited analysis of the factors affecting the execution of development cooperation projects was identified. Thanks to the review of scientific articles by renowned authors, effectiveness, relevance, competencies and motivation, sustainability, risk management, and additionality were evaluated using the analysis of relationships between variables and causality using IBM SPSS and fsQCA 3.0 software, respectively. As a result, a model was obtained that relates the components, factors, and roles that make up the stakeholder matrix. It was concluded that the effectiveness factor has a significant relationship with the success of a project; however, this could not be possible without a good development of sustainability and risk management, the latter being a necessary and sufficient condition for success in this type of projects. Currently, risk management has not only become a necessity nowadays, but the improvement of risk management will increase sustainability in project management, the main factors for the success of a project.

Models of causality in Thomas Aquinas: Analysis and interpretation in the philosophical context of the Expositio super librum de causis
(Editorial de la Facultad de Filosofia y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, 2024-07-01)
Through a historical, critical and hermeneutical analysis of both the sources and the specialized bibliography, the present work seeks to elucidate whether it is possible to evidence in Thomas Aquinas’s commentary on Liber de causis not only a historical reception but also a conceptual transformation of the models of efficient, exemplary and final causality that are operating in the textual plots collected by Aquinas (De divinis nominibus of Pseudo Dionysius Areopagita, the Elementatio Theologica of Proclus and the Liber de causis) in the problematic context of doctrinal disputes developed during the second half of the 13th century.
