Design of a ventilation control system in underground mines and tunnels
    (2021-09-19)
Today no one is free of accidents, especially in high-risk work environments such as in-mine and/or tunnel work. It is quite common that in this type of high-risk activities and where evacuation accesses are distant from the area of operations, the response time plays an important role in the event of a dangerous event, which can materialize in an accident if necessary. you do not act quickly. Having a realtime ventilation monitoring and control system helps us as a tool to prevent a possible risk event. This control system, by constantly monitoring the ventilation inside the tunnel or inside the mine, can send us an alert to a web server that can be monitored through a computer and/or a smartphone that is on the surface when there is a lack of air, when the temperature rises considerably and the humidity begins to rise or the air flow is minimal then the system will activate an alert to the different monitoring or control devices. Additionally, this prototype contributes to saving energy because it will automate the switching on of the fans only in the presence of people in the work area. This prototype thus achieves real-time supervision and allows us to make the best decision when faced with an event that endangers human life in the workplace. Design of a robotic arm window cleaner at the heights to avoid accidents due to falls
    (IJETAE Publication House, 2021-10-01)
Working at height is extremely dangerous because there is not much safety for the worker, for that reason there are accidents of falls from scaffolding. According to the Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción de Empleo (MTPE) 5.49% are accidents caused in work at heights. It is important to bear in mind that the higher the height there is more possibility of suffering a fall, therefore, there are many factors in the height, the main factor is the air since it does not allow the scaffold to remain still. That is why, this research work proposes the design of a robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom with Arduino Mega 2560 and a link with Radio Frequency (RF), to replace the worker and reduce the risk of accident, also consider that the robotic arm will be manipulated wirelessly, being ideal to prevent a fall of personnel and controllable from a safe area. It was obtained as a result, that the robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom is more than enough to perform a cleaning of three types of windows, and the programming for the robotic arm is quite easy and can be programmed very quickly, in addition the SolidWorks software helps to design and layout the robotic arm.

Mobile application for the monitoring and control of electrical energy consumption through a meter made with Arduino
    (IJETAE Publication House, 2021-01-01)
This year, citizens were complaining that the power companies were overcharging their bills because of the pandemic, but investigations in previous years also showed claims in Peru and internationally. In this work, the Scrum Methodology was used for the development of the mobile application and the Balsamiq tool was used for the design of the prototype. In addition, the Arduino tool was used for the electricity consumption meter. As for the case study, we developed the prototypes of the application with its functions and the methodology of how it is elaborated, at the same time we described the way in which the meter will be implemented with Arduino. The results obtained from the research are that people can compare the consumption of the bill issued by the electricity company and the consumption shown by the Arduino meter, in addition to the union of the mobile application with the meter will allow them to consult the consumption and also issue reports having a better control of electricity. This work can be implemented not only in the cities, but also in remote places where traditional meters have not been implemented. Vehicle anti-theft back-up system using RFID implant technology
(Auricle Global Society of Education and Research, 2022-05-01)
Since the creation of the vehicles, they have been very well received by the world market. However, this has caused some individuals to try to obtain them illegally. Likewise, several security systems were created to avoid this type of actions such as the location of the vehicle. However, these security systems were prevented by blocking the signals emitted by these devices, which increased the rate of attacks of this type. In this sense, the present research project implements the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) implant technology, which is already being used in several applications worldwide thanks to its adaptability and low acquisition budget. The objective of this project is the implementation of this technology as a backup means to prevent the vehicle from being mobilized while the owner is not inside the vehicle or to keep it running when it is forcibly removed from the vehicle. The purpose of this implementation is to reduce the number of people who are victims of vehicle theft in the Lima-Metropolitan district, which has seen a high rate of theft in recent years.
