Item type:Publication, Sexismo y justificación de la violencia en adolescentes ecuatorianos de contextos en riesgo psicosocial(Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón, 2020-07-01)The research aims to analyze the relationships between ambivalent sexism and attitudes justifying violence among peers and domestic violence (in 73 adolescents (43 females and 30 males) aged from 11 to 18 years (M = 15.74, SD = 1.14 ), from a community in psychosocial risk in Loja, Ecuador. The Attitudes towards Diversity and Violence Questionnaire (Díaz-Aguado, Martínez Arias, & Martín Seoane, 2004) was used, as well as the Inventory of Ambivalent Sexism for Adolescents (De Lemus et al., 2008). Positive relationships were obtained between the variables, where hostile sexism proved to be a strong predictor of attitudes that justify domestic violence (R2 = .40, p <.001) and violence between peers (R2 = .39, p <. 001). Therefore, on the one hand, it is relevant for communities at risk to develop violence prevention programs that promote a culture of peace and, on the other hand, the deconstruction of sexism by strengthening of their rights and empowerment of resources. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Epistemological beliefs on secondary students in the acceptance and use of Facebook(Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, 2020-04-01)Students' beliefs for learning purposes, evolve with their age and experiences; what allows to explain the acceptance and use of a didactic-technological means. In this way, we sought to: Understand the relationship between epistemological beliefs and the acceptance and use of Facebook and describe the final categories that constitute students' epistemological beliefs in their learning experiences with the social network in question. A phenomenological approach was applied based on semi-structured and in-depth interviews. The sample consisted of 10 secondary school students, who had the experience of developing learning activities on Facebook throughout the 2018 school year. The results indicate that the beliefs of the students regarding the possibilities of learning in the environment of The Facebook page "Virtual Environment of Religion" are valid predictors for acceptance and use in the area of religious education. Indeed, it was identified that the facility, the time invested, the social influence, as well as the academic and learning benefits constitute the students' beliefs to accept and use the page in question. It is suggested to carry out similar studies under a mixed paradigm with transversal and / or longitudinal designs, in order to strengthen the theoretical framework of ICT curricular integration. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Teorías implícitas en estudiantes de secundaria acerca de la competencia comunicativa escrita(2021-10-05)The implicit knowledge that high school students possess is key to understanding how they develop written communicative competence. The teaching approaches in schools established four ways of conceiving writing, from the most reproductive to the most epistemic. Therefore, the importance of this research lies in investigating the bidirectional relationship between practices and conceptions of writing. The general objective of this study is to describe the students' knowledge, which form their implicit theories and which unconsciously guide their learning activities in relation to the production of written texts. The results indicate that second-grade high school students from a Lima school show a conception of written communicative competence that is closer to a traditional teaching approach to writing. Therefore, the teaching of the competency approach of the National Curriculum is not having a major effect with regard to the development of written communicative competence as such. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
