Item type:Publication, Critical factors to approach the emergency online teaching due to the COVID-19(SAGE Publishing, 2021-12-31)This study analyzed the critical factors to approach the emergency online teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic in a business school in Latin America. The data were collected through a semi-structured online questionnaire administered to 94 full-time and part-time faculty members. The study identified 10 critical factors for the successful implementation of emergency online teaching. The originality of the study lies in analyzing the experience in migrating to online teaching in a Hispanic higher education academic institution. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, La eficacia educativa en un Instituto de Educación Superior, en tiempos de pandemia(Saint Thomas Aquinas University, 2022-11-04)The study is purposed to describe good practices in organizational factors of educational effectiveness in the pandemic context, in a private higher education institute in Peru. Qualitative study, which considers four study categories to formulate a semi-structured guide for the interview with leaders at the institution. The study concludes that good leadership practices in the pandemic context within the institution are: i) to develop a pedagogical direction style; ii) to support teachers to guarantee learning results and teaching strenghthening; iii) to promote a high commitment in colaborators throught motivation, close direction, and shared leadership; and iv) to develop agile tools to facilitate communication and contribute to results achievement. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
