Fondo Editorial, 2017-01-01)In this essay I study the “Underwood Poems” that Martin Adan included in “La Casa de Carton” (1928). Its formal characteristics make these poems one of the most important texts of the Peruvian vanguard, as well as they establish one of the most resounding criticism to the modernity discourse of the era. I am particularly interested in analyzing one of the main images of this poem in order to trace not only the principal social changes that are represented but also how the poetic voice configures a compelling armor of critical responses to these changes.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Lenguas y dialectos pano del Purús: una aproximación filogenética(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Fondo Editorial, 2017-07-31)The present paper aims to provide a classification of the Panoan linguistic varieties spoken in the province of Purus (Ucayali, Peru). The data covers lexical information coming from nine Panoan linguistic varieties of the Purus province, as well as grammatical information taken from eight of them. The data have been analyzed using phylogenetic methods and show the need of including all these languages in a single Panoan subgroup. The results, however, show inconsistent trends between the lexical and the grammatical data: lexical data suggest the existence of three well-defined linguistic units, while the grammatical data point towards the existence of four. This fact opens interesting questions regarding the so-called Yaminawadialectal continuum. Finally, this paper discusses the position of Iskonawa (an obsolescent Panoan language) in relation to the languages of Purus. The data shows that Iskonawa is closely-related to the languages of the Purus region. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, La adquisición de oposiciones en bilingües castellano–quechua y quechua–castellano(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Fondo Editorial, 2017-07-31)De Saussure’s idea that phonological systems are based on distinctive oppositions crystalizes in the work of Jakobson and his collaborators with the “dichotomous scale” of distinctive features. For these scholars, the way a language works, as well as the way it is acquired and lost, depends on the hierarchical organization of the distinctive features. The work of Dresher and his collaborators recovers the importance of this fundamental conception of phonological systems, with the name “contrastive hierarchy”. In this paper, I show that the acquisition of the Spanish vocalic system by Quechua speakers and of the Quechua vocalic system by Spanish speakers amounts to the acquisition of L2 oppositions on the basis of L1 oppositions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Las clínicas jurídicas anticorrupción: estudios de casos de corrupción en cuatro regiones del país(Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (IDEHPUCP), 2020-12)La siguiente investigación representa la materialización del trabajo que, desde hace años, están realizando las Clínicas Jurídicas Anticorrupción impulsadas por el IDEHPUCP en las regiones de Lima, Cusco, Ayacucho y Áncash, con el objetivo de fortalecer las capacidades de estudiantes universitarios de Derecho y Periodismo para prevenir y controlar los actos de corrupción pública. Sin lugar a dudas, como parte de la sociedad civil, los estudiantes universitarios cumplen un rol importante en la lucha contra la corrupción en nuestro país, por lo que esperamos que este documento pueda contribuir al debate académico, así como a incentivar a más jóvenes universitarios a involucrarse en estos esfuerzos de combate contra este flagelo. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Dinámicas de corrupción en el Perú: análisis a partir de sentencias de la Corte Suprema de Justicia(Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (IDEHPUCP), 2023-08)Este documento es el resultado de la investigación «Perfiles, patrones y dinámicas de corrupción en el Perú. Análisis a partir de las sentencias de la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la República del Perú en casos de corrupción en la costa, sierra y selva (2017-2022)», llevada a cabo por el Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (IDEHPUCP) para profundizar en el conocimiento, en términos criminológicos, del fenómeno de la corrupción en el Perú y, en particular, para ofrecer un enfoque en el que se rescaten las especificidades territoriales de dicho fenómeno. Por otro lado, esta investigación buscó ser parte de los esfuerzos que desde hace más de cinco años realiza el IDEHPUCP a fin de fortalecer las capacidades de la sociedad civil y, en especial, de los estudiantes de derecho de las regiones de Cusco, Áncash e Iquitos para denunciar casos de corrupción y hacerles seguimiento. En ese sentido, las Clínicas Jurídicas de la Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco, la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo de Huaraz y la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana de Iquitos participaron en el desarrollo de la investigación a través del análisis de las sentencias de la Corte Suprema de Justicia que se seleccionaron. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, La filosofía del derecho de Hegel: ¿política, no metafísica?(Sociedade Hegel Brasileira, 2021-02-27)Perhaps unconsciously emulating the intention of John Rawls to turn liberalism into a purely political theory, without presuppositions or metaphysical pretensions, some contemporary authors propose to update the central approaches of Hegel's Philosophy of Right, but also to dispense it with its dependence on his Science of Logic. We will analyze whether this claim is possible, and for this we will focus especially on the methodological strategy used by Axel Honneth in his various works on the matter. Even recognizing the relative plausibility that such an undertaking can have, we will argue, however, not only that it is not possible to dispense with those metaphysical presuppositions, but that, well understood, they actually constitute the greatest richness of the most relevant ideas of the Philosophy of Right. We will make a differentiation between immediate, mediate and hermeneutical presuppositions, and this should show us the different levels of dependence between the two mentioned works of Hegel. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Modificaciones introducidas por el Decreto Legislativo 1384 al Código Civil peruano de 1984: especial referencia en materia de derecho de las personas, negocio jurídico, derecho de familia y derecho de sucesiones(2021-09-19)En el presente texto, el autor analiza el Decreto Legislativo N° 1384 del ano 2018 y los cambios que ha introducido en el Codigo civil peruano de 1984 y otras leyes, con la finalidad de adaptacion de la normativa interna peruana al mo-delo social garantizado y regulado en la Convencion sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad, al reconocerles capacidad juridica en igualdad de condiciones. Para ello se pone especial referencia a los preceptos de Derecho de las personas, Negocio juridico, Derecho de familia y Derecho de sucesiones. Del mismo modo, el autor subraya que –sin perjuicio de poder afinar los cambios introducidos– ha sido muy importante la reforma a traves de este Decreto-Ley, ya que con ella se promueve la inclusion de las personas con discapacidad en todas las esferas de la sociedad
