This study explores the moral reasoning of a group of soccer players from the Shipibo-Konibo indigenous people concerning the use of various fouls and misconduct in such sport’s competitions. Through qualitative interviews, using written cards that show conflict situations in soccer games, the cultural secrets used to gain advantage over rivals are first identified. Afterwards, the beliefs and ways of moral reasoning of these players on the use of such secrets, as well as common fouls in soccer games, are examined. The results show the complex relationship that the specific cultural beliefs and worldviews have with the universal processes of moral reasoning common to people from different cultures. Authorship contribution SF: study conception and design, interviews, data interpretation, article preparation and final revision of the manuscript. ED: conception and design of the study, interpretation of the data, preparation of the article and final revision of the manuscript.

Objective: This study aims to propose a comprehensive approach to five theoretical dimensions, characteristic of social entrepreneurs, to design a conceptual model that analyzes them based on macro-level psychosocial constructs such as beliefs and practices. Method: A qualitative study was conducted with 16 social entrepreneurs from the city of Lima (Peru). Using a deductive thematic analysis, their careers were examined and made operative based on their beliefs and/or practices, and on more specific psychosocial variables such as values, attitudes, behaviors and traits. Results: The attitudinal dimension of Positive Attitudes Towards Sustainable Practices (PASP) is the articulating main point in which all participants’ experiences come together to define their social vision, of axiological nature, promoting competent behaviors including innovation, networks and financial returns. Conclusion: The results highlight the need to deepen the study of the PASP dimension focused on the Peruvian social issues. Authorship Contribution AVR: coordination, conception and design of the study, data collection, coding and analysis of information, theoretical argumentation, main writing of the manuscript and final revision of the document. MAPV: design and development of the instrument, contact with participants, data collection, theoretical argumentation and document revision. AEP: theoretical development of conceptual model, design and development of the instrument, and review of final theoretical discussion. Populismo, cognitivismo y crítica de la razón
(Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón, 2021-01-05)
The present work seeks to offer a philosophical approach to the phenomenon of populism, an approach that differs from the one that comes from the social sciences because it offers critical and normative aspects. In this sense, the anticognitivism and dogmatism of the populist proposals will be criticized and the Kantian ideal of the Kingdom of ends will be opposed to the substantive concept of the people offered by populist theorists such as Ernesto Laclau.

(Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón, 2021-01-05)
The quest for God has been a major one in the ancient world. And the question about God as Principle, one of the most important and interesting among the classics. Among the conceptions of God, the Augustinian one considers him as a personal God and as the Being itself. In his De Musica, there is an epistemological path through the rhythm to the eternal harmonies which are in the Being. How is the ascent of the soul possible? Which path did he indicates? This article tries to explain both subjects. First, we will analyze the ascent in Augustine and then how that ascent is possible through rhythm to the eternal harmonies.

Background: The sense of capability scale, originally validated in French university students (Drouin & Costalat-Founeau, 2020), measures people’s subjective representation of their own capacities and theirperceptions of what others think about them. The aim of this study is to adapt the scale for university students in Lima, Peru and to analyze its psychometric properties. Method: 516 students from a private university completed the questionnaire. Factor analysis and correlations were used to determine evidence of validity. Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega were used to evaluate reliability. Results: Contrary to the original 2-factor structure, our results suggested a single-factor solution that explained 52% of the variance; the items had high loadings. The model was confirmed by a best fit (χ2 = 362.84; df = 35; p < .001; CFI = .99; TLI = .98; SRMR = .06; RMSEA = .10). A moderate positive correlation was found with positive affect and flourishing, as well as a moderate negative correlation with negative affect. There were no significantdifferences by sex, level, and career type. Conclusion: The new version of the scale shows evidence of adequate validity and reliability (α = .88) in students of a private university in Lima, Peru.
