    Brazil partners: an analysis of Brazilian exports
    (Universidad Nacional de Colombia::will be referenced::ROR-ID, 2021-01-01)
    Com as exportações, as empresas obtêm vantagens que podem ser ainda mais ampliadas ao se trabalhar em redes. Esta pesquisa analisou qualitativamente o comportamento das exportações brasileiras e utilizou o programa UCINET como ferramenta.Os resultados apontam que o Brasil é exportador de commodities e 95% das exportações são realizadas pelas grandes empresas e com destino principalmente aos Estados Unidos e à China. No contexto das micro, pequenas e médias empresas (MPME), os dois principais países de relacionamento são Estados Unidos e Argentina. Percebeu-se a forte necessidade de o país diversificar sua rede de interação e elevar a participação no mercado internacional.

    Restaurant consumers: the role of invisible ingredients in food quality
    (Emerald Publishing Limited, 2025-01-01)
    Many studies have focused on food quality in restaurant consumers, aiming at its impact on satisfaction and loyalty. However, less emphasis is given to the factors that generate food quality. Besides, employee quality and customer service orientation are often treated as synonyms. This study aims to identify the impact of quality attributes on the perception of food quality, specifying the differences between the roles of employees and customer service. Design/methodology/approach A survey of 417 consumers was conducted, and the hypothetical model was tested through structural equation modeling (SEM). The data was analyzed using the R program (an open-source programming language). Findings The results reveal that food quality comprises visible and invisible factors. Therefore, understanding the differences in employee roles and customer service orientation, without neglecting the physical environment, is essential to raising standards and thus achieving levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Originality/value This study presents an integrated model that differentiates the roles of employee orientation and customer service orientation. Furthermore, it considers these variables and the physical environment quality as fundamental factors in generating consumers' perceptions of food quality.

    More than functionality: how technological perception drives price fairness and brand equity in food delivery
    (Emerald Publishing Limited, 2025-12-16)
    The technology used in the food delivery app (FDA) sector is extensively studied regarding its functionality and practicality. However, less attention is given to understanding how this technology affects consumer perceptions. This study aims to analyse, from the consumer's perspective and utilising the expectation-confirmation theory (ECT), how technology shapes their perceptions of price fairness, experiences and the influence of these factors on brand equity. Design/methodology/approach A survey with 315 respondents was applied in this study. The proposed theoretical model was evaluated using the SEMinR package in the R programming language, which is indicated for partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) methods. Findings The results confirm that technological perception alone explains 32.9% of the perception of FDA price fairness. This perception, combined with price fairness, explains 61.8% of the customer experience. As a result, the model explains 68.7% of brand equity. Originality/value This is the first study to analyse in an integral model the impacts of customers' technological perceptions on the FDA brand, demonstrating that it is not just about offering low-price policies, but about practicing price fairness and valuing the customer experience, as this will have a direct impact on brand equity.
