Designing a Framework for E-Government Adoption in Peruvian State Enterprises Using COBIT 5.0
(European Organization for Nuclear Research, 2020-08-19)
As part of the regulatory compliance process and the streamlining of public administration, the Peruvian government has implemented the National E-Government Plan in all state institutions with the aim of providing citizens with solid services based on the use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). As part of the regulations, the requisites to be met by public institutions have been submitted. However, the lack of an implementation model was detected, one that can serve as a guide to such institutions in order to materialize the organizational and technological structures needed, which allow them to provide the required digital services. This paper develops an implementation model of electronic government (egovernment) for Peru's state institutions, in compliance with current regulations based on a COBIT 5.0 framework. Furthermore, the paper introduces phase 1 of this model: business and IT goals, the goals cascade and the future model of processes

Applying a UCD approach to redesign functionality on ATM: A case study in the context of university and business collaboration
    (CEUR-WS, 2020-01-01)
Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are still one of the most used customer service channels for bank customers. In that sense, the last years, there has been a tendency to increase the range of operations available and implement them on ATM apps. However, it is observed that several of these new features are not used by customers. It is reported that customers do not use them because they do not know them or because they are difficult to use. Therefore, the challenge has been raised of taking an existing functionality of the ATM app and redesigning the user interfaces and the screen flow by applying principles of Usability and User Experience, as well as applying concepts related to HCI, under an UCD approach. Likewise, security aspects have also been taken into consideration, which implies interacting with an ATM. This case study was carried out in the context of a HCI course of the Master in Computer Science of the PUCP University in collaboration with the ATM team of BBVA Peru. There were three meetings between the PUCP student teams and the Bank specialists. In the first meeting, the problem related to ATM functionality was enunciated, in the second meeting the elaborated prototypes were shown, in the last meeting the final prototype was presented with the adjustments obtained after the user evaluation applied. The feedback received was very positive both by the students of the HCI course and by the Bank specialists regarding the improvement of the User Experience in general.

KPIs and sustainability of inspection services SMEs in foreign trade
    (Science Publications, 2022-01-01)
This research seeks to determine whether Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that incorporate sustainability in small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) of inspection services improve their competitiveness and sustainability in the market with the mix of Triple Bottom Line (TBL) strategies. For this, the best sustainable KPIs can be collected, empowering companies to follow unique steps since the application models of these indicators do not present uniformity for all organizations. The methodology used is a descriptive and exploratory study with a corresponding literary review, using data collection instruments such as a survey that projected the internal perspective of SMEs and their importance of applying sustainability at the micro and macro level and of the instruments for the formation of a manageable set of KPIs that fit the size of the company, in addition to presenting data on the best way to determine sustainable KPIs. The results show that there is no standard model to apply these indicators in a certain company.
